Miniature Model Sledge

The Polar Museum, Scott Polar Research Institute, University of Cambridge

A replica of a model sledge made by Lieutenant Edward ‘Teddy’ Evans on the British Antarctic Expedition 1910-13, for use in a museum handling box. The sledge is fully laden, and its load includes a pyramid tent and poles, sledging boxes, a shovel, a pick-axe, a rope, a sledging wheel, and fuel cans.
